NET Conference Home

NET is the annual international participative conference for everyone interested in healthcare education. NET started in 1990 and continues to go from strength to strength with the 2007 conference being the best yet. It was attended by 244 delegates from 14 different countries. Around 215 abstracts were received with 139 accepted and presented at the conference.

The NET conference aspires to mirror and model leading edge best practice in learning. It presents the best kind of learning processes that students should be exposed to.

The NET conference philosophy is unique – delegates select theme sessions to attend which are most relevant to their interests and remain with their chosen theme to enjoy the continuity of the debate.

The NET conference:

diamondencourages healthcare professionals to debate and reflect on healthcare issues
diamondfocuses on networking for those with shared interests
diamondchallenges care delivery strategies and their quality
diamondencourages lifelong learning and learning how to learn.

Join like minded colleagues from the UK and overseas to share ideas of good practice and innovative approaches to education.

Use the NET conference to stand back from your day to day work and discover new approaches, network with colleagues and return refreshed and stimulated.

It has never been more important for educators to explore ways to deliver relevant and flexible programmes, develop innovative clinical experiences, engage with students and their needs, and ensure the quality of learning experiences.

Come to NET2008 and do just that!
