Sparkling Wine Drinks Reception and Gala Dinner
Wednesday 9 September 2009
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the NET conference we are holding a sparkling wine reception and gala dinner at Gonville and Caius College. This is one of the oldest of Cambridge
University's colleges and is situated in the heart of the City.
To start the evening we are delighted to invite you to attend the sparkling wine drinks reception, which is kindly being sponsored by Elsevier. This will take place in one of the beautiful inner courts of the college.
You will then move up to the beautiful and atmospheric college dining hall for dinner. During dinner there will be special entertainment from the minstrals' gallery. After dinner coffee and chocolates will be served in the delightful bar and JCR area. There will also be the opportunity to dance to the disco.
Buses will be provided for those attending this gala dinner and these will leave from the main entrance of Fitzwilliam College between 18.30-18.45. There will be a return bus after dinner at about 22.00 for those not wishing to stay late or to take part in the dancing. Final buses will then be available to take everyone else back to Fitzwilliam College at midnight.
Delegates who have booked the Gala Conference dinner will have a ticket in their delegate badge. Entry to the conference dinner will be by ticket only.
