Mental health is experiencing a period of exciting change, and the shape of mental health nursing is also changing. Standards are being raised and issues addresses to meet the needs of society and the wishes of service users and carers. How will the new roles created affect practice? What will be the impact for you? What will 21st century mental health nursing look like? What does society want from mental health nursing?

The 2006 conference will address these issues and their impact on healthcare professionals, other workers, service users, carers and students and on education and practice.

Keynote papers and concurrent sessions will focus on leading edge issues and workshops will provide opportunities to learn practical skills to enhance practice.
