Venue and directions

We are delighted to return to Robinson College, Cambridge again, a regular and popular venue for the mental health nursing conference with it’s air conditioned Auditorium and professional friendly staff.

Accommodation is provided in single study en-suite bedrooms, many of which have private balconies, close to all the college and conference facilities. There are a number of rooms suitable for disabled delegates. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and an alarm clock radio. Internet connection facilities are available in each room, please see the Robinson College website for details of the Ethernet cable you will need to access this.

The college cuisine is of a very high standard and has a well-deserved reputation for it’s quality. There is a large well stocked Bar providing a hospitable and comfortable environment for socialising and networking.

From the outset Robinson College was planned with the needs of conferences in mind and provides a perfect base for such events. The buildings are architecturally striking and highly functional. Set in several acres of attractive wooded grounds and extensively landscaped, the college gardens provide a peaceful retreat whilst the beautiful city of Cambridge with it’s many attractions is just a short walk away.

The College is situated on Grange Road, directions as follows:

By rail

London (Kings Cross or Liverpool Street) to Cambridge trains take approximately one hour. Other rail services link Cambridge with the Midlands and the North. The College can be reached from Cambridge station by taxi.

By coach

There is a frequent express service between London and Cambridge and a coach service several times a day between Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports and Cambridge.

By road

Leave the M11 at Junction 12 and proceed towards Cambridge on the A603, Barton Road. Grange Road is opposite the Hat and Feathers public House, about 1 1/2 miles from the motorway. Robinson College is the new red brick college a quarter of a mile along Grange Road on the left hand side.
