Terms and conditions

1 General
1.1 This website is operated by Jill Rogers Associates. As a user of this website you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make is subject to our terms and conditions.

1.2 When you use Jill Rogers Associates' services please read the additional information and terms and conditions provided with regards to such services and made available at the time of booking as this information will provide you with full details on how to use such services.

1.3 We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website (see date at the top) and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

1.4 This Website may contain hyperlinks to websites operated by third parties. Such hyperlinks are provided for your reference only. We do not control such websites and are not responsible for their contents or the privacy or other practices of such websites. 

2 Conference bookings
2.1 Please use one form per participant.


2.2 Confirmation that registrations have been received will be emailed by return; please contact the conference office if you do not hear from us within one week of sending or submitting your form.

2.3 Attendance and venue details will be sent to delegates by email at a specified time unless the registration is received after that date, in which case the information will be sent to you within one week of us receiving the form.

2.4 Delegates are strongly advised to make sure they have the appropriate insurance.

2.5 The conference organisers reserve the right to alter the programme due to unforeseen circumstances.

3 Conference booking cancellations and refunds
3.1 Cancellations received before the specified date will be refunded, less a specified processing charge.

3.2 No refunds can be made after the specified date.

3.3 Substitutions may be made in writing to the organisers up to the specified date.

4 Payment
4.1 Purchases from us are handled by secure merchants services online. We use merchant services with both PayPal® and Worldpay®.  

4.2 Your purchase is subject to the merchant service's terms and conditions. Please make yourself aware of how the merchant service operates prior to completing your purchase. Terms and Conditions for payments made by Paypal® can be found at www.paypal.co.uk and by Worldpay® at www.worldpay.com/uk/terms-conditions

4.3 Upon completion of your purchase, the merchant service will electronically supply us with your payment and shipping details.

4.4 Both merchant services (PayPal and Worldpay) accept multiple currencies. However we require that all payments are made in GBP (Sterling). Payments made to the merchant service other than in GBP (Sterling) are subject to currency conversions at the appropriate exchange rate.

4.5 We do not store debit/credit card details.

5 Refunds
5.1 Any cancellation made before the named date for each individual conference will be refunded less an administration fee of 20% + VAT. These dates are shown in the terms and conditions of each conference.

5.2 No refunds will be made for no-shows at the conference or for any cancellations made after the named date for each individual conference. However substitutions may be made at any time up the start of the conference. These dates are shown in the terms and conditions of each conference.

6 Data protection
6.1 Data Protection Act (UK): Any information you provide will not be shared with a third party.


6.2 We ask for your name, telephone numbers, organisation details, contact address, invoice address, booking details and email address to fulfil your order. We may also send you a newsletter or information relevant to your conference area area of interest. When a purchase is made you will be redirected to the payment merchant service: PayPal or Worldpay.

6.3 Your data will enable us to fulfil your order, to notify you about important changes and for statistical or survey purposes to improve this website and our services to you. We may also send you from time to time (by email or post) information about products and services and details of promotions and special offers from JIll Rogers Associates.

6.4 This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ('Google'). Google Analytics uses 'cookies', which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
