SECED 2015 Conference
SECED 2015 is a two-day conference on Earthquake and Civil Engineering Dynamics taking place on 9-10 July 2015 at Homerton College, Cambridge.
This will be the first major conference to be held in the UK on this topic since SECED hosted the 2002 European Conference on Earthquake Engineering in London.
The programme will provide an opportunity for both researchers and practitioners to share the latest knowledge and techniques for understanding earthquake risks, the dynamic behaviour of structures, and their impacts.
The conference will bring together experts from a broad range of disciplines, including structural engineering, nuclear engineering, seismology, geology, geotechnical engineering, urban development, social sciences, business and insurance; all focused on risk, mitigation and recovery.
Abstract information and submission
Extended abstracts are invited with a closing date of Tuesday 30 September 2014. Both oral and poster presentations are welcome. Abstracts should be prepared in accordance with the Abstract submission guidelines.
