Gala dinner
Wednesday 7 September 2016 at 19.00hours Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge, CB2 1TJ
We are delighted to announce that the gala dinner for NET2016 will be held in the wonderful Dining Hall of Trinity Hall, University of Cambridge. The dining hall is still housed in its original building dating from 1350. Modernised in the Georgian period, it still has features dating from its medieval beginnings, such as stained glass crests and its minstrel's gallery.
Trinity Hall is renowned for its excellent cuisine and their award-winning chefs have put a greater emphasis than ever before on the provenance and sustainability of ingredients.
This special evening will start with a drinks reception in the beautiful gardens of the college followed by a modern, delicious three-course meal made with the finest British ingredients in the Dining Hall.
Coaches will be provided and will depart at 18.45 from the main entrance of Churchill College to take everyone to Trinity Hall and will return to Churchill College at the end of the evening. The return coaches will leave Trinity Hall at 23.00.
This gala dinner offers a great opportunity to engage and network with the speakers and colleagues in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
